Our Beautiful Blue Gene Carrier Zuri

Beware of breeders selling “cheap” bulldogs. There are many reasons bulldogs are expensive. Not every dog is meant to be bred. A good breeder will select only the highest quality dogs to enter into their breeding program. They will only choose dogs without health problems and those that represent the best standards of the breed. Our dogs are given the best of care, nutrition, and quality of life with our family.  Bulldogs are most often artificially inseminated and born by a caesarian section with a great expense and planning to the breeder. All of our puppies are born by caesarian section. They usually have small litters of between 3 to 4 puppies. They are not an easy dog to breed!

The rare colored Bulldogs are even more expensive. A good breeder may search the world for the best representation of this breed and spend years developing their “perfect” dog. They invest thousands of dollars on their dogs and thousands more for their care and breedings. Rare colored bulldogs such as blue, chocolate, and black and tans are very hard to find and are very expensive. A good breeder has invested a lot into their dogs and would never “discount” them.

It is my belief that it is not the color of the bulldog that makes them beautiful but the quality of their temperment, health, and conformation that makes them perfect……..color is the icing on the cake for each individual owner:)

Remember, there is a lot that goes into breeding the French bulldog and if a puppy is “cheap” there is a reason……….

We are very excited and proud to own the very rare Blue and Chocolate French Bulldogs, as well as our rare Black & Tan Tri English Bulldog that carries all rare colors as well.
Zuri is a blue and chocolate gene carrier, which means when bred to a blue or chocolate she will produce those 2 very very rare colors...what is a Blue or chocolate French Bulldog??

As with all things rare, be that a white elephant or a red diamond, blue and chocolate Frenchies are also in high demand. Why blue? Well apart from the usual fawn, brindle, pied color that they usually come in, an exceptional hue can also be found – if somewhat rarely- in Frenchies. These rare-colored French Bulldogs are called "Blue French Bulldogs".

The Blue French Bulldog actually comes in three varieties. The Blue Brindle, the Blue Pied and the Blue Fawn. The Blue Brindle breed has a “grey” blue tint on a solid blue-grey coat. The Blue Pied is the one with the dilution of the ‘d’ gene. These two variants of Blue French Bulldogs often have blue or yellowish gold colored eyes. The Blue Fawn, variation is more conspicuous by the masking points on its face and have distinctive green grey eyes. The chocolates can be solid or pied and can have yellow or green eyes...it's so exotic looking.

Demand for the Blue, Chocolate and Black & Tan Bulldog is high..supply is low.

There are world wide waiting lists for these very rare colors so be prepared to wait...and wait..and be prepared to spend $$$$.  You shouldn't be surprised that the prices for a Blue or Chocolate French Bulldog start at $5000 up to $10,000 depending on if solid, pied or gene carrier.

Rare colored English Bulldogs are even more rare especially the Black & Tan and Blues.

Prices for a Rare colored Bulldog ranges from $4500-$10,000
